In this series we are having a conversation with the subconscious. Our environments are always talking to and comforting our subconscious minds, thats why humans tend to decorate our environments with things that make our brains feel safe, comfortable, moody, or exciting. These paintings are created to blend in, not shout out their intentions, but rather become a steady presence of peace, humanity and loving comfort in being alive. We as artists and fellow human beings have also been riding the current waves of turmoil, loss and grief. This year we wanted to speak to that collective weariness with loving supportive images of enduring strength, encouragement and affirming humanity.
