Quote in the title: Marcus Aurelius
It’s Monday, not just any Monday. It’s the Monday before the Pro Kit launch on Saturday. I’m still editing and finishing the content videos for that kit. We are listening to the voice within. We are hearing, learning, feeling, exploring our way into this vast world we share. In my head I see us like the painting below…
Nice, right? It’s really hard to do, in real life. I am deeply, intensively immersed in the learning part at the moment. I’m studying the art of product video commercials and I had a little break through on the practice of commercial making. In my last post
I was talking about the video commercials I was making for the beginner pour paint kit and how I was making progress. I am a fast learner and I love to learn new things. Take a look at the new Pro Kit commercial and see…if I’m lying I’m dying…WORD, I feel good about this one.
Well? Wasn’t that a better execution of the first 5 rules of commercials?
I think so. The rules are:
- Clearly define the Purpose
- Clearly define the Audience
- Clearly define the Message
- Clearly define the Command
- make the commercial
Yeah, I think so, I rang that bell a little and I’m proud of myself.
This week I’ll be setting up the studio for the launch party on Saturday. We will have food and music and PAINTING…lol and we will be filming the event. That should make for some great new content and we get to see people use the kits, live for the first time. It’s gonna be a heck of a good time.
I’ve also been practicing with the 10 second and 30 second spots. Here are some examples of those runs, for those who are following along on the learning adventure too. I’m learning the 5 second spot and I’m still working on my 20 second spot.
Well, I am off to the races. I hope your day goes well. Thanks for being here today, it matters a bunch to me!! <3 Big Love to every one! HA!
Hey there art fans! Today is the re-launch day for the new & improved pour paint kit! yaaaaaay! I am a little bit excited, can you tell? 🙂 We have worked really hard, over the last year to create the very best, art experience in a box, the world has ever seen! Now every kit comes in it’s own pouring tray (pizza box), has a durable, reusable apron, 8 paints (including the Neon’s!), 2 bottles of PVA school glue (for making your DIY pouring medium) 5- 8″ x 10″ canvases and cups, stir sticks, gloves (non latex) and push pins! All that AND new instructional videos too! Yes, we love you and want you to be thrilled with your experience!
We are confident, with the new video instructions and more paint to play with, you will have the best time ever, learning to pour paint like a pro! Great for parties & events, these kits can be bought signally, or in a 5 kit party pack!
Kits are available online in the AlleyVision shop! We are taking pre-orders for the Advanced kit, due out on 9/10/18! Just send us an email to be placed on the pre-order list. (email@example.com)
We spent a year in product development for this kit. The hard work has paid off, we learned that our patrons wanted, well in a word, MORE!
So, you got MORE! 8 paints and double the DIY pouring medium. A pour tray to keep things cleaner, (the box is the tray) and everyone needs an apron! We have one size, can be fitted to all, Tyvek aprons. They are soft, durable, re-useable, adjustable and waterproof! Throw them in the washer, if you want! We worked to remove as much plastic and waste from the kits as possible. We also, tested the colors included in the kit a 100 times, to make sure there was no mud making colors! You can feel confident that your artwork will turn out awesome, every time! We wanted to bring the joy of creativity to everyone on the planet, so we made this kit with you and your family, in mind. We kept the price low too!
The new kits are priced at only $50.00 USD with free shipping (inside the USA only, sorry).
Free shipping ends 9/30/18, so get your kit on the way today! They make wonderful gifts for the holidays. There is no other product on the market like ours. We are in the trademarking process, so we have double checked! 🙂

Hello art fans! I am so glad you stopped by today, I have a couple of new things for ya. 🙂
First let me catch you up on the what’s what in studio. The watercooler gossip is that the artist duo known as HAWA, have lost their collective minds and gone rouge.
Fact of the matter is we are working hard and barely looking up from the “get it done” yoga pose that is our life. The kit redesign schedule is…on schedule. We shot the new content for the new and improved, Basic pour paint kit. This weeks schedule includes such highlights as:
- Complete the product label project…OMG, y’all , this one has me all in the feels.
2. Edit the raw footage for the first set of instructional videos. (This is one that I like doing! lol)
We have reason to feel good, but it’s also a threat to feel too good and I will pay attention that that doesn’t happen.
4. Shoot & create a new fun video this week, adding extra fun.
All that and I also have family stuff, household stuff (also where the wine comes in) me: coz I’m not in love with cleaning, also me: “this is house is UNSAT and must be corrected!” sheesh) So, off I go to do the day job and create all the good things and take care of the rest. Love to you all, I hope this finds you well. Prayers have been said for you all. Thanks for being here today. HA!
LOL you thought I forgot about the new stuff? Nope! Here’s the 2 videos from last week, in case you missed them. 🙂
Hello art fans! Happy Monday!
It’s been a long day all ready here in the studio. I mean it’s only noon as I write this. We have been up to some different stuff this last weekend…we made hats, top hats, foam top hats, to be specific. WHY? I think I heard one of you ask that, telepathically, of course. I’ll answer that with a link, so you can skip the google and learn more about top hats and why they are important to Americans, if you so desire. Abraham Lincoln
Plus: it’s soon to be the 4th of July, duh.
Also: WA and I’s 4th wedding anniversary. We got married at an outdoor 4th BBQ, just so we could have fireworks every year. (in our mind its a celebration of OUR love, too, across the country! lol).
Sheesh the hubris of artists…what are you gonna do?
May I suggest making your own top hat? It’s fun, easy and makes you feel like a super bad ass when you wear them. Also, you don’t have to carry your signs in a march, you can always just wear your custom top hat and your arms won’t get so tired. As well as, you won’t have your stick with your sign’s attached to it, taken away, because you know…dangerous weapons, potentially. No ones gonna get hurt with a foam top hat! Plus, free speech on clothing is a supreme court decision…1st amendment all the way, daddy-o.
You may need your top hat for some other reason, you do you, boo! If you make one, share! We wanna see!
I have tons to do before this 4th…we are offering these hats to anyone that wants one…no money, just love. (While they last) Some of us don’t want to knit a pink p&ssy hat…now, give me a top hat with something good on it? yup, you guessed it, I’m down.
See ya on the flip side my friends!

Hey art fans…I’m back. It’s getting to be a “thing” I guess so I should just get on with it. 🙂 The painting above is my work from yesterdays studio time. I even made a video with my handy-dandy new camera. Check it out:
I hope you like the video! We are only 3 subscribers away from our first 100 and when we reach that goal we get to name our channel alleyvision, instead of all those numbers, it’ll make everything easier to find on the net. I’m excited because we are hitting every goal, art wise, business wise, and our personal unity is solid and strong. It’s really amazing.
I have to jet today, much to do and less time to do it. I hope this post finds you well. I love you everyday 🙂

Hello Art Fans! I’m back with another update post on the happenings in the studio. Last time we left off WA and I were moving into the learning curve of the controlled pour landscape. The painting above, Pacific Moon Rise #1, was our breakaway painting from the addiction of painting sunsets over water. I mean, this technique is supper addicting, especially if you love a challenge like we do. In this painting I did use glow in the dark paints in the moon and water…because…whatdaya think? glowing=FUN. 🙂
Next we moved into a different groove. We wanted to conquer light quality in the works…so we picked a favorite place we know well and….The Sand Lake Series was created, take a look.
Sand Lake – Sunrise- WA- 2018 -20″ x 16″
Sand Lake -High Noon- HA!- 2018- 20″ x 16″
Sand Lake – Sunset- HA!- 2018- 20″ x 16″
Sand Lake- Midnight before the Moon- WA- 2018- 20″ x 16″
Not bad, eh? We felt really jazzed about this set so we picked another place we love and see everyday…Mount Hood. Check it out…
Mt. Hood #1-HA!-2018-20″ x 16″
Mt. Hood #2- WA-2018-20″ x 16″
Mt. Hood #3- HA!-2018-20″ x 16″
Whew! We were really feeling the groove I tell ya. Of course, we filmed almost all of these paintings, so in time (when I have more of it) the movies will be released. All of these paintings are available in the shop, they will all be $75.00 USD with free shipping in the USA. Check them out here.
We went on to other experiments. Make sure to stop by on the next post when I start whining about how hard it is to make shapes hold and we learn shading, shape and form in controlled pouring! It’s a hoot and I hope you’ll enjoy it. Have a great week! We love you every day. HAWA <3
SOLD 12/22/2017 🙂
Hello art fans, how’s your week going? Mine? Fair to midland, I’d say. Progress continues on the newest Alien Encounter painting. Today I have a few details that I want to hit and then we are going to call her done and move her to the drying wall to cure. She has been a lot of fun to work with. She is a quiet but fierce being, she is pensive and thoughtful as well. I was saying I think I need this and that still…and she said “hush, move with authenticity not perfection.” She is wise, indeed. We will do a little touch up on the clouds in the upper right hand corner, because they just need it and then be done. She says she is good, as is. 🙂 I am naming her “Persephone” of the species, Hue-man, planet Earth. Here are the update pictures, enjoy!
P.S. I’m adding a contact form at the end of this post, in case you would like to inquire about her, before she goes into the Gallery for sale.
This where you last saw her…
