Hey there everyone, hope this finds you well. I finished the Big, Huge painting! lol yay! 🙂
I put together a super short, fast moving movie to show her progression from mind to finished painting.
Here are a few pictures by themselves so you can see her better. I hope you like her and I’d love to hear your thoughts when you see her…what stirs in your mind when you look at this work?
I have been in recovery for 3 years from my battle with cancer and I stopped working big. I stopped working all together. This painting is my fight song. This is me taking courage to be brave and step up to the canvas and go for it again, as the New Me. The strong me. The story I am telling, I really am invested in. Triumph and Resonant Compassion.
“The Dryad” 38″ x 48″ oils HA! 2017
Please contact me at tribealley@gmail.com if you want to talk about purchasing her for your own. I offer payment plans for everyone, fine art is within your reach, let’s talk and figure it out together. Prints will be available soon. 🙂 Love always, HA!

Wow Heather. This is crazy good. The first thing I see is her eyes. They’re full of wonder, hope, possibility. Her skin tone is so clean, pure looking. Holding nature in her hand that way says to me she’s healthy enough to sustain life around her. It’s a very uplifting piece. Well done!! Well done!!!

Thank you! I sweated it out on this one, she is so big that every little thing stood out to me and allowing things to be left raw and finished next to each other was a trial of patience with myself. I feel good that I finished her to a place I could call done. I loved to paint large and is what I was known for back in the day…so it’s been a minute for me. Thank you so much for the feedback. <3
