Hello art fans, how you doing this fine (I mean wet and cold, here) Tuesday? I hope this post finds you well. I Love You, btw…just saying, so thanks for stopping by.
OK, now on with the show! I have been a whirlwind of busy! (by that I mean gimping around covered in paint spilling my coffee or putting my paintbrush in it, while muttering incoherently to myself)
I’ll just do a pictorial romp through the last weeks excitements.
WA got into the studio and started a new work…I love the way he uses texture and movement. His terrain paintings belie his skills in being a combat engineer. I would never fear being lost in the woods with WA. <3 (swoon)
I started a new work for a very special 18 year old woman that I think is amazing…it’s her birthday and she loves tigers! Yay! Tigers…
As you can see I am just getting into the work, but this ones going to be fun. In true AlleyVision style, everyone gets to watch it’s progress daily. Even the Birthday Girl, I Love You! 🙂
Random studio shot…at least it’s sorta clean this time, sheesh. 🙂
I finished the girls! Woot! This is “Abby & Emma” they said they wanted to belong to the “Story Teller” series. They were so much fun to work and I am a big easy push-over for kids in bunny ears…so, we are writing their short story now. They will have their own post, soon, so stay tuned for that. They will be going on the sales floor soon as well as prints…my camera’s not working right now…*grumble, grumble Mercury retrograde…grumble*
I made my first sale on ArtFinder! Yay! “Hand that feeds” is now speeding its way to it’s new home. *So Grateful* Thank you! <3
The Peacock flew the coop yesterday for Canada! His new owner is a long time collector of my work and is excited to be getting her first HA! Original (the new me) she now has a few of my works from over the decades. 🙂 SO grateful, heart so full, Thank you, I love you!
The table went out to it’s new owner and I know she is gonna love it! This is also going to a collector of my work. 🙂 Yay! I Love you! Thank you so, so much!
The Galaxy table top spinner found it’s owner when he stopped by the studio to chat and look at the new artworks! Thank you! Big Love! <3
Here’s a shot of the guys in the studio…they both work so hard everyday. Often after dinner, this is the scene at our place. We don’t have TV’s in the living areas of the house, to encourage ourselves to interact with each other. It’s good for the kids…the youngest is not in this image, but he plays the drums and sings too. 🙂 *sigh, I love my family*
Here’s a shot of the shipping yesterday…it’s a lot of work to create the art, we are super careful with YOUR work…I learned to pack professionally ( I took a class and everything, people) so I build these boxes to make it to you safe, sound and cheap as freaking possible. 🙂 Every part of your purchase matters to me, I want you to unwrap it and feel like you are getting a present. (it is so important to me that you have joy in spending your money with us)
They look so pretty when I’m done, they don’t arrive pretty always, but arrive intact and safe, they always do. I love you, see? <3
It can be no other way, a friend of mine says…I love it…it can be no other way.
That’s all from me, I am pretty worn out really. That’s a lot for this old cripple. 🙂 Just kidding (not really). I am gonna get my hind-end into the day job and work on those tigers later today in the studio, come back and see what happens next 🙂
