The quote that goes with this work:
For here the religion that languishes in crowded cities or steals shame-faced to hide itself in dim churches, flourishes greatly, filling the soul with a solemn joy. Face to face with Nature on the vast hills at eventide, who does not feel himself near to the Unseen?
Languish is a painting for my tired mind. I needed a quite place to think and feel and process all that is happening in the world at large and in my own inner world. This is what happened when that need went unfulfilled. I like it. It’s working for me.
I hope you enjoy it too.
Blue is a very hard color to get correct pictures of, so bear in mind…this is a deep, velvet study of the color blue. My favorite color when thinking it seems. 🙂
Have a great day and thanks for being here.
