This is great check it out, Oh and I may rant a little.

It’s about civil liberties, call it marriage call it civil union…behind your own, private, closed door I won’t care what you call it, if you don’t care what I call it.

Are we really needing someone to hate in this country so badly?

I just don’t see what the big deal is, if everyone wants a marriage or a civil union, they should have them. Because this is just so stupid to be talking about at this time in out history. I mean it’s crazy, they just want to be seen as legally like everyone else, I mean what’s the big deal? It’s civil rights people! It’s SIMPLE! This stupid kind of stuff, is what they use to keep us so busy with petty and small minded tasks, that take our time and money, hearts and souls, and keep us under the big boot. We are so busy with these types of non-issues, that it makes me so sick and mad and tired…I’ve been fighting for 22 years  now, for civil rights, that I’m tired of fighting for things that should not be issues at this point. I mean this is STUPID! Let people of all races, religions, genders Marry or Unite or whatever they or you want to call it. We should be banning together as HUMANS not this or that “type” of human being. Just humans that all have families, jobs, hearts, souls and lives that deserve to continue and be treated fair… like the words of the constitution say…. All created equal, right? This is not a religious issue, it is simply a civil rights issue. Grow up and get over it already, jeepers-creepers.

OK, I’m done…for now. It’s been long, oh so very freaking long, Monday at BAD! Kitty. Oy! Now…I gotta a hitch in my giddyup. 🙂

That was a really good video. I like how they edited it.

And I agree with you, this is much more a civil rights issue than it is a religious issue.

People of other religions can still practice their religions but it doesn’t make sense that the civil rights of homosexuals should be denied because of what some of those people believe based on their religion.

I can’t even watch the video yet, but will. I have some really good friends who all got married, several gay couples I know, before the election. They are still married, in my eyes. I can’t abide the haters either. If they are against gay marriage, they shouldn’t get one!

I go off into rants too, and totally understand. There is no room for intolerance anymore.

I like the rant probably because it expresses my views, also. There are too many important things to focus on without worrying about the stupid ones.

YAY BAD KITTY! You are so right- this is a NON issue – or it should be. Sometimes it’s hard to stay calm during this kind of injustice – which it is. Just this week a good friend of my son’s is LEAVING SCHOOL to go to another one. Why? Because he is ASIAN and the schools in our district can’t find any rules on the books that prohibit racism – in short. I was very saddened that in the 21st century we are still dealing with bigotry and intolerance. I like to believe that with each NEW YEAR there’s a chance for NEW understandings.
