Be brave enough to live life creatively. The creative is the place where no one else has ever been. You have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of your intuition. You can’t get there by bus, only by hard work and risk and by not quite knowing what you’re doing. What you’ll discover will be wonderful. What you’ll discover will be yourself.
Hello world! I am still here, working, making art and selling art. I have not been posting much because of the work load. Let’s see….I got a new commission two weeks ago, started and finished it already, just waiting on the paint to dry now. Argh! I’ve shipped out lots of smaller works recently too. I have done some of my own new work, but again, I have two to share with you all…just waiting on paint to dry to finish them. I’m also working my day job as a life coach…I’ve had to triple my available hours on that job to keep us afloat financially…no biggie, just doing what needs to be done. Mate Man has gone to a few interviews and we heard back from his first choice a couple days ago; they have to do the background/security clearance, and the piss tests, and the checking of the resume and referrals. After that is done, the job looks like it is going to be his. Yippeee! So…we are looking at something like maybe another 30 days the way it is, nice.
It’s not a job that pays as well as his last position, but it’s a real position with a large hospital so, it’s much more secure as far as still having a job in a year from now. We are hoping that it all works out, he can go back to work, and we can get back to living our regularly schedule lives. Nice. 🙂
The boys are all good, and we are already getting excited about summer time. Well, they are, I’m not sure about it all yet.
We started a wonderful garden out back with some scrap lumber and spare parts we found. It’s just now starting to really sprout and we love to farm and garden so we are thrilled. I of course want to put the whole place under instant organic cultivation and go to market! We can be the urban farmers…yeah, that’s the ticket. Next season maybe…but for now it’s enough to just have a real garden space again. It’ll be enough this year to just have our own food, from our own yard. I love growing things to eat. Yum.
So anyway, I just wanted to give a little update, a little shout out to my peeps. Hope all is well in each of your worlds.
